Use Your Customer's Name Frequently in Emails and Conversations
Make customers feel important and appreciated instead of as "just another client" or " just part of your job." Treat and respect them as individuals. Most customers know that you have many other accounts and contacts. By using their name frequently, they get the sense that you are in tune with their needs, personally and professionally. Find ways to compliment them, but be sincere. People value sincerity. It creates good feeling and trust.
When you go to your favorite restaurant, do you have a favorite server....do you ask to personally sit in their area? Why? Because you received excellent service from them, they treated you special and maybe, they even took the time to know your name. That is the same kind of service your customers are asking of you.
Think about ways to generate good feelings with your customers about doing business with you. Customers are very sensitive and know whether or not you really care about them. Thank them every time you get a chance. If it weren't for them, your company would not exist.
