Practice Consistent Acts of Kindness

You probably remember a few years ago when one of the most popular bumper stickers seen on the road read: Practice Random Acts of Kindness. Sounds good. But then it caused me to think, "Why should acts of kindness only be random? Should we not aim for more than that? Shouldn't we try to incorporate this attitude into a lifestyle instead of just a whim?"

Be helpful - even if there is no immediate profit in it.

One day a man popped into a local watch shop because he had lost the small piece that clips the pieces of his watch band together. When he explained the problem, the store keeper said that he thought he might have one lying around. He found it, attached it to the watch band - and charged the man nothing! Where do you think the man went when he needed a new watch band or even a new watch? And to how many people do you think he told this story to?

Be on the look out for little ways to WOW your customers and practice acts of kindness. Your customers will thank you for it.
